About the Alumni Association
The McKinney Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (MCPAAA) is a volunteer service organization whose members serve as ambassadors in the community for the McKinney Police Department.
Our membership is comprised of those who have successfully completed the McKinney Citizen Police Academy, a 14-week course offered to citizens living in McKinney, Texas.
Our organization focuses on fundraising, to benefit our police. Other than the minor expenses we incur, running the organization (i.e.: web hosting, bank account fees, et al) all other funds go to our charitable work for the police. That work includes honoring our officers with awards for meritorious service, retirement gifts, and help with urgently-needed assistance when an officer is incapacitated or wounded.
